DESCRIPTION:Pine River Library will be virtually hosting a program by local historian Ruth Lambert on the history of Hispano Catholic churches along the San Juan River in Archuleta County and southeastern La Plata County. The churches at Juanita\, Trujillo\, Pagosa Junction\, Allison\, and Tiffany will be discussed. The project included assembling historical information from research materials\, church records\, genealogical data and interviews with knowledgeable people; collecting historical documents and photographs; and documenting the churches through field recording and photographs. \n \n  \nThis will be an online event.
