DESCRIPTION:Between 2004 and 2007\, researchers from the University of New Mexico reopened archaeological trenches at Pueblo Bonito excavated\nin the midden mounds in the 1920s by the National Geographic Society. The goal was to relocate and investigate water channels described in the 1920s.
