DESCRIPTION:Pine River Library will be virtually hosting a program by local historian Ruth Lambert on the history of Hispano Catholic churches along the San Juan River in Archuleta County and southeastern La Plata County. The churches at Juanita\, Trujillo\, Pagosa Junction\, Allison\, and Tiffany will be discussed. The project included assembling historical information from research materials\, church records\, genealogical data and interviews with knowledgeable people; collecting historical documents and photographs; and documenting the churches through field recording and photographs. \n \n  \nThis will be an online event. DESCRIPTION:The Ignacio Community Library will virtually host local historian Ruth Lambert for a presentation on preservation efforts of the Tiffany Catholic Church in Tiffany\, Colorado. The small Tiffany Catholic Church\, Iglesia de San Antonio\, is one of the few remaining historic churches that conveys the story of Hispano history in the area of southeastern La Plata County near the border with New Mexico. \n \n  \nThis will be an online event.
