DESCRIPTION:2022 Colorado Book Award Finalist Scott Graham will read from and talk about his book Canyonlands Carnage at 6 p.m. on November 9\, 2022 at the Blue Sage Center for Arts. National Outdoor Book Award-winning author Scott Graham’s National Park Mysteries are\, first and foremost\, fun and entertaining amateur-sleuth tales aimed at national park visitors and enthusiasts. At the same time\, each of his mysteries addresses\, as an integral part of its plot\, a specific environmental or social justice issue specific to the park in which it is set. Scott will talk about the challenges he has faced and successes he has enjoyed by combining entertainment and activism over the course of his series. This program is the latest in Changing the Legacy of Race and Ethnicity programming. Panelist perspectives include Dr. Margarita Bianco\, Dr. Jesus Rodriguez\, Dr. Rosanne Fulton\, Tim Hernandez\, and Dr. Natalie Lewis. This conversation will take place on November 9\, 2022 at Lone Tree Arts Center. Equity\, Educators\, and Workforce transformation is the 8th conversation in the series and the first to be held in person.
