The Five States of Colorado are regions within the man-made boundaries, where cultures and economies have evolved from the land and its history. The film was first produced in 1989 by Jim Havey and Colorado Humanities through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and was distributed to educators and cultural institutions. In 2004, with grants from the Colorado State Historical Fund and Pinnacol Assurance, the video was updated and distributed in VHS format. Now available on DVD.
