DESCRIPTION:For science fiction/fantasy and speculative fiction lovers\, MileHiCon is a weekend not to be missed. The convention will feature authors\, artists\, speakers and programming on every aspect of the science fiction and fantasy genres. \nMeet Gary Raham\, 2024 Colorado Book Award finalist and author of Not Quite Dead Geniuses at Large on an Angry Planet. He believes the latter often excites a new generation of scientists to discover more of the former. Armed with degrees in biology from the University of Michigan\, Raham taught high school science before pursuing careers in writing\, illustration\, and design. His work has garnered numerous awards. Raham’s writing has been known to make a reader laugh and think simultaneously with no known deleterious effects.
