Since 1976, state humanities councils have been recreating the tent Chautauqua. August 1 – 5, 2022, High Plains Chautauqua at Aims Community College and other locations in Greeley, Colorado, features evening presentations by outstanding scholars portraying historical figures and offers a series of interactive daytime programs. Chautauqua offers the option to participate in a deeper discussion of the issues presented in the historical context of character portrayals with the scholar/actors and other participants. All events are free. New this year is Family Night, featuring Angel Vigil as El Vaquero teaching rope tricks. Learn more at https://coloradohumanities.org/…/high-plains-chautauqua/
