VOLUNTEER
Community volunteers are important to Colorado Humanities’ effectiveness, and we offer a variety of opportunities in many areas of administrative and program support for those interested in joining our work. Volunteers may contribute time, energy, and expertise to help with general office tasks, and to implement programs, host events, assist with public relations and fundraising, or serve on advisory committees.

We strive for our Board to represent the diverse geographical, racial, ethnic, occupational, and generational constituencies of our state.

EMPLOYMENT
Colorado Humanities has an opening for a part-time Clerical Assistant
The Colorado Humanities Clerical Assistant assists the Director of Operations and other staff in clerical functions supporting programs and administration. Work will be done in consultation with the Colorado Humanities Director of Operations and other individuals as designated.
This is a 24 hours/week position. Scheduled hours are between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Attire is business casual. Pay: $11/hour, No benefits.
The Clerical Assistant duties include the following:
- Data entry into DonorPerfect database and program data spreadsheet
- Development and updating of contact lists in Excel and CRM database.
- Assisting in the preparation and dissemination of outreach materials
- Assisting with mailings, including packaging books for shipment
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Latino Cultural Programs Research Intern
Help us with Latino resource mapping: who is doing what in Colorado? What agencies offer exhibits, archives, live, audio and video programs about Coloradan Latinx communities and individuals?
Social Media Intern
Help staff design and implement a social, print, and broadcast media marketing strategy for a program.
Video Intern
Help staff and professional services providers record and distribute videos about our programs.
