Colorado Humanities is thrilled to partner with Stories on Stage for “Mixed Company” on Sunday, November 10 at 2 p.m. at Su Teatro Cultural and Performing Arts Center.
Jenny Shank is an accomplished author, teacher, and journalist who grew up in Denver, Colorado. She earned degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Colorado. Her notable works include the short story collection Mixed Company, which won the George Garrett Fiction Prize and the Colorado Book Award in 2023, and her novel The Ringer, which won the High Plains Book Award. Shank’s writing has appeared in prestigious publications such as The Atlantic, The Guardian, and The Washington Post. She teaches creative writing at the Mile High MFA program at Regis University in Denver and lives in Boulder, Colorado with her family.
