Poetry is often associated strictly with rhyming and meter, but its power extends far beyond those traditional structures. In this workshop, we will explore how poetry serves as a narrative medium, utilizing intentional language, vivid imagery, and prose-like elements to weave compelling stories. Participants will examine diverse examples of how poets use narration as a catalyst for storytelling, expanding the boundaries of the craft to create deeply resonant narrative works.
