Meet Alexander Hamilton

Loading Events

To most Americans, Alexander Hamilton remains a vaguely disquieting figure, yet can also be seen as the new American: strong of will, confident of purpose, with the encumbrances of human frailties. A man who rose through society propelled only by his intelligence and energy and became far more than seemed likely at his birth, his life was far more interesting, and far more important than most seem to think.

Hal Bidlack is a retired career military officer. Following his retirement, he served on the staff of a United States Senator and as a senior research fellow at DC-based think tanks. In Chautauqua tradition, Hal will first take questions as the character, then answer questions as the scholar/actor.

If you are interested in attending, please reserve a spot by emailing Julianne Fritz at sjfritz@slbbi.com or calling 970.396.4637 as soon as possible.
